Return & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through Green Power Tech Store.
Due to the technical nature of energy equipment and the shipping processes from authorized distribution centers in the United States, all returns and refunds are governed by the conditions described below.


🟥 1. No returns accepted for buyer’s remorse or purchase errors

Returns are not accepted for:

  • change of mind
  • incompatibility not verified prior to purchase
  • lack of product understanding
  • errors selecting models, voltages, or capacities
  • duplicate orders placed by the customer

All products are ordered, processed, and shipped directly from authorized manufacturer or distributor facilities.
For this reason, physical returns cannot be received in Puerto Rico.


🟧 2. Only factory‑defective cases are eligible

A return or replacement is only processed when:

  • the equipment presents a confirmed factory defect, and
  • the manufacturer determines the defect is eligible for warranty, and
  • the customer meets all technical and registration requirements

Returns are not accepted for:

  • damage caused by incorrect installation
  • customer‑induced damage
  • negligence
  • unauthorized handling
  • electrical modifications
  • damage caused by external events (lightning, flooding, fire, etc.)
  • use outside technical specifications

🟨 3. Financed purchases (NON‑refundable)

Purchases made through financing are non‑refundable under all circumstances, because:

  • payment is processed directly by the financing entity
  • the customer maintains an active contract with said entity
  • Green Power Tech Store cannot cancel, reverse, or modify approved loans

In cases of factory defects, only the following apply:

  • replacement, or
  • repair, as determined by the manufacturer or technical evaluation

🟦 4. Evaluation process by location

🇵🇷 Puerto Rico

Green Power Tech Store coordinates and covers the cost of an official technical visit performed by a certified technician validated by our company.

The visit determines whether:

  • the equipment has a factory defect, or
  • the damage originates from external factors or incorrect installation

Any system requiring advanced programming or configuration must have active remote monitoring.
The customer must provide access to the monitoring portal or app for support and warranty purposes.


🇺🇸 United States

In the United States, warranty, repair, or replacement processes are handled directly by the manufacturer.

Mandatory requirement:
The customer must register the equipment on the manufacturer’s official portal to activate the warranty.

Processing times may vary by state.


🟫 5. Replacement of defective equipment

🇵🇷 Puerto Rico – Local replacement

If the equipment is not repairable and the defect is confirmed as factory‑related, Green Power Tech Store will replace the unit with:

  • the same model (if available), or
  • an equivalent model in capacity, technical characteristics, operation, and commercial value

This is possible thanks to our 5% operational reserve dedicated to local warranty cases.


🇺🇸 United States – Manufacturer replacement

The manufacturer will determine:

  • whether repair or replacement applies
  • whether the replacement will be new or refurbished
  • whether the customer must return the defective unit
  • whether shipping costs are covered

Green Power Tech Store does not perform local replacements in the U.S.


🟩 6. Refunds (only when authorized by the manufacturer)

A refund is only issued when:

  • the manufacturer confirms the equipment is defective, and
  • no replacement is available, and
  • the manufacturer authorizes the refund

For credit card purchases:

  • a 10% non‑refundable processing fee applies
  • processing may take up to 30 business days, depending on the bank

🟪 7. Rejected or undelivered shipments

If a customer rejects a package or fails to pick it up:

  • round‑trip shipping costs will be deducted
  • a 25% handling and restocking fee will apply
  • only valid if the product returns new and unopened
