Protect Your Solar Investment

Easy-to-understand Terms and Conditions
-Is this Solar Equipment Repair and Replacement Protection Plan an extended warranty program or just an extension of the current manufacturer's warranty?
No, it's actually an update of the existing manufacturer's warranty that only covers malfunctions due to manufacturing defects.
The Solar Equipment Replacement and Repair Plan covers technical visits, diagnostics, labor, and reinstallation of repaired or replacement equipment.
Our Solar Equipment Repair and Replacement Protection Plan does cover damage caused by surges from the LUMA o Genera that may cause malfunctions in components (inverter or batteries) of the solar equipment or destruction of all or part of them. In this case, if we can't repair it, we will replace it!
As a unique and important additional element to our Repair and Replacement Protection Plan for Solar Equipment, we will cover annual cleaning of the solar panels and MC4 connectors, inspection and adjustment of the breakers, and firmware updates for the inverter and batteries. This maintenance is essential for the optimal performance of your solar equipment.
-How does the Replacement Plan work?
In the Replacement Plan, Green Power Tech Store can replace the equipment with the same model, as much as possible, or an equivalent in features and specifications of the equipment that is being replaced. Keep in mind that equipment models change over time, so the new equipment won't necessarily look like the one it’s replacing.
-How many times will my equipment or components of my solar energy system be covered by the Repair and Replacement Protection Plan for Solar Equipment?
In the Replacement Plan, your coverage provides only one first time replacement of the covered equipment or components of the solar energy system. For the Repair Plan, you will be covered for the entire coverage period. Benefits include technical visits, parts, and labor for required repairs to your equipment.
Our exclusive solar equipment replacement and repair plan is available exclusively to new purchasers and upon renewal.
-What is excluded from the Repair and Replacement Protection Plan for Solar Equipment?
Exclusions:
• Accidental damage: Caused by mistake or intentionally by the solar energy system owner when changing the settings recommended by the manufacturer or our certified installers.
• Damage caused by the customer when moving the equipment from its original installation location: Any change in the location of the equipment would automatically void not only the protection plan but also the manufacturer's warranty.
IMPORTANT: If you wish to move your equipment without losing the protection plan and manufacturer's warranty, you must notify us to carry out the relocation of the equipment and you will pay the costs of said work. We must indicate that there are three costs involved: uninstalling the equipment, transporting it to the new location, and installing it at the new location.
• Damage caused by natural phenomena: Our Repair and Replacement Protection Plan, as well as the manufacturer's warranty, do not respond or take responsibility for damage caused by atmospheric phenomena such as hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, floods, earthquakes, or any other damage caused by nature.
Theft or vandalism: Not included
Unfortunately, our Solar Equipment Replacement and Repair Plan is not insurance. To do this, we recommend that you speak with an insurance agent you trust for advice on how to include your new equipment or solar energy system within the insurance coverage of your property.
