Warranty Validation Requirements for Systems Without Installation

For the warranty to be valid, the installation must be performed exclusively by a qualified and certified professional. This is required by the manufacturer and enforced by Green Power Tech Store to protect the customer, ensure electrical safety, and guarantee long‑term system performance.

Accepted Installers

The installer must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Certified photovoltaic technician in Puerto Rico

  • Licensed Perito Electricista

  • EG4 / Signature Solar certified installer

  • Licensed electrical professional with verifiable credentials

Installers NOT accepted

The following void the warranty:

  • Unlicensed individuals

  • “Handymen” or helpers without technical credentials

  • Anyone without verifiable electrical or solar certification

  • DIY (self‑installation)

If the installation is performed by a non‑qualified person, the customer assumes full responsibility and the warranty cannot be activated.


Mandatory Installer Verification Process

At the time of installation, the customer must send the following information through the WhatsApp button /+1 (787) 699-2140 on our store

  1. Full name of the installer

  2. Email address

  3. Phone number

  4. Evidence of certification or license

    • Photovoltaic certification

    • Perito Electricista license

    • EG4 certification

    • Or equivalent verifiable credentials

Our team will contact the installer directly to validate:

  • Identity

  • License or certification

  • Technical qualification

  • Compliance with manufacturer requirements

Without this verification, the warranty cannot be activated.


Mandatory Warranty Registration

After installation, the customer must register:

  • Serial numbers of all components

  • Installer’s validated information

  • Installation date

Registration must be completed through the official manufacturer warranty portal.

Only systems installed by certified professionals and properly registered qualify for:

  • Manufacturer warranty

  • Technical support

  • Replacement of defective components

  • Authorized diagnostic procedures
